I love this home security system provided by one of the best companies around. Their burglary and surveillance systems are just amazing. The fact that I can also control it from smartphone security apps is just awesome. I don’t really mind the price because it has lots of features that makes it cool to use.

Hmmmm. Been around for more than 50 years is quite encouraging but I still think it’s expensive especially the cancelation fee! I mean, I no longer need the service, why still charge me such a high price to cancel!!

EPS was originally in my area and then stopped out of no where. That left me with no option but to cancel. I was not going to pay a company for a service that they discontinued. The thing that really ticked me off though is that they tried telling ME that I had to PAY the cancellation! After many arguments on the phone I finally was able to get them to take that off my final bill. What a headache.

I had the same issue with my home. I ended up losing my job and had to cut costs and eventually sell the house and go back to renting. The issue was that even given what I had been through, I still have to continue to pay or terminate the contract with a huge fee. This service is good if you don’t have issues financially or have a stable job. You don’t want to get them if you risk losing or having to sell your home.

I went with EPS assuming this was the best deal for me but I soon learned that this is not the case. I am not going to speak for the whole company but my experience with a few of their employees was horrible. Not only was I charged 2 times for the installation but it took them 3 weeks to give me my money back. I had to call them every single day until it go done and was told time and time again I was refunded.

Thanks for this review, I was glad I found it. I have been debating on which company to go with for home security and EPS sounds good to me. I like that they have been around for a long time. The upfront costs may be high but I am sure in the long run it pays off.

I was happy when I was with EPS but then the prices started going up and I had no choice but to drop them. The cancellation fee was TOO MUCH! I could not believe it when they told me. Had I known this going in, I would have went with someone else. I had to use a credit card to pay it. What a mess. If you plan on going with the company they are great, just be sure you can afford it. You don’t want to get slapped with a huge fee like I was.
