ADT doesn’t even offer a tamper switch on their panel. The GE Simon XT that Protect America uses is garbage. No tamper switch and in 2 years the back up power is dead and the system doesn’t even notify you.

My rule is to change the security system if moving to a new home with an existing system. It doesn’t matter if it’s just newly installed or if it still works fine. We don’t know the history all that well and the security system may have already been compromised.
