going to need it. \u00a0These new &#8216;all-in-one&#8217; home security system devices are popping up everywhere. \u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alarm-reviews.net\/what-is-cocoon-security\/\">Cocoon,<\/a>\u00a0a similar all-in-one security device was launched recently in\u00a0March 2016, and <a href=\"https:\/\/alarm-reviews.net\/canary-home-security\/\">Canary security<\/a> already does the same thing that Piper can. \u00a0The one thing they boast about is no monthly fees but most of these companies <a href=\"https:\/\/alarm-reviews.net\/nest-reviews\/\">including Nest<\/a> try to sell you a monthly package for video data storage on their cloud.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #3296aa;\">Before going further\u00a0here&#8217;s\u00a0a look at the pros and cons of the Piper security:<\/span><\/h3>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #26de26;\">The Good<\/span><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>All in one device. \u00a0Less clutter in home.<\/li>\n<li>Has some basic automation features but do not purchase for those reasons.<\/li>\n<li>Z wave compatible so many other sensors can connect to it to make it a full alarm system.<\/li>\n<li>Wireless, Do it yourself installation<\/li>\n<li>Instant <a href=\"https:\/\/alarm-reviews.net\/home-security-apps\/\">alert to your smartphone<\/a> when alarm is triggered.<\/li>\n<li>Good customer support including click-to-chat support.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #db4b4b;\">The Not-So-Goods<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>It is a new device in the market and is going to need some time to prove itself. \u00a0However, it is working and functional and being sold in big stores so you can rely on them.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Does not call the police\u00a0<\/strong>or any other authorities. \u00a0If you miss the alert (travel, work, movie night out etc.) then the robber gets away free. \u00a0If you want a DIY alarm system that is connected to local authorities (the point of an alarm system to us!) then <a href=\"https:\/\/alarm-reviews.net\">check out these wireless systems<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Need multiple all in one devices per home. \u00a0At least 2, bigger homes may want 3-4. \u00a0At $179+ a pop this can get pricey quick.<\/li>\n<li>New to market. \u00a0Like <a
